Andrea Hytch uses oil and cold wax medium to create semi-abstract paintings, that pay homage to the natural beauty of Derbyshire’s rural landscape. Using a process of slowly building up layers of oil paint mixed with cold wax medium, she achieves heavily textured compositions that are rich in colour and surface detail.
