Irene’s fascination with nature and all manner of creatures from earliest childhood grew alongside a natural interest and talent for drawing. This almost inevitably led to her becoming a wildlife artist, the focus of her work a foregone conclusion. The Brown Hare, following some brilliant encounters, has become a particular favourite.
