Our collective group of maker talent includes the jeweller Silver Silkie. She creates jewellery pieces made from gold and silver, and also uses Keum Boo, an ancient Korean gilding technique of layering thin slivers of gold onto silver.
Why not check out the work of Birchover based designer craftsman Chris Fleming who creates unique wooden wares from locally sourced timbers. Chris captures the essence of traditional and ancient craftsmanship and infuses it into contemporary, technically skilled pieces.
