The Old Station Building, which opened in 1849 and was designed by architect Sir Joseph Paxton, served the Rowsley community for decades, connecting people to the Peak District. It later became a goods yard until its closure in 1967. Now, it’s a charming part of our village, adding a touch of history and offering a lovely spot to pause and enjoy the season’s colours.
